SAUDI female bloggers have found the freedom to express themselves online without fear of retribution. Yet one female blogger, Saudi Eve, has been singled out for punishment and has had her blog blocked in the Kingdom.I wrote a story about this for the Christian Science Monitor, which was published on Monday. i hope the veil covers only the face not the minds of women there. finally they are opening up for change, even if it's one step at a time. this will open up doors for other possibilities.

Yahoo News picked it up as well. There are lots of Saudi women, living outside KSA, and inside, who are blogging.

My wife, a Saudi citizen, has contemplated it, in an effort to try and talk about subjects taboo in Saudi, or in the wider Muslim world.
